Welcome to Noon Rotary Club of Yucca Valley.

20TH ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS PARADE!

The Rotary Club of Yucca Valley has announced the
annual Festival of Light Parade being held on
Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 5:30 PM.

“This year’s theme is “Light up the World” and we
are proud to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the
holiday annual tradition,” said club spokesperson
Cynthia Kraemer.

The club is seeking clubs, organizations, businesses
or individuals to enter their float, car, boat, truck,
pets or anything they can light up!  Entry forms are
available at the Yucca Valley Chamber of
Commerce, at Realty Professionals of the Morongo
Basin, or online here.  Entries are $25 each. Entries
must have self powered lights and be as bright as
possible.

Following the parade there is  a chance for the kids
to come see Santa and receive a gift, see a puppet
show and view all the parade entries.  This will be
held at the Hi Desert Water District offices.

The parade is sponsored by Southern California
Edison, Hi Desert Publishing, Z107 radio, Hi Desert
Water District, the town of Yucca Valley and Yucca
Valley Rotary.

Awards will be given out for those entries that are
extra special in 5 categories. More information can
be obtained by calling Cynthia at 760-365-1988.

The most successful and sustainable Rotary service tends to fall within one of the following six areas:

Peace and conflict prevention/resolution
Disease prevention and treatment
Water and sanitation
Maternal and child health
